I Want to Cheat

I've been thinking about you, Mr. Cake.

I've been on Weight Watchers for 7 weeks now and I have lost a whole whopping 11.6 pounds. Some would say that's awesome, but I say it's not enough. If I lost 30 pounds in 7 weeks maybe I would be feeling better. This weight is coming off so slow and it's been easy to get discouraged. "Congrats, you lost 1 pounds this week." My Weight Watcher leader told me a few weeks ago.  "Yeah, what are you congratulating me about?" is really what I am thinking.

Tonight I felt weak so instead of cheating, I'm blogging.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have lost a pant size. Which is good.

....Oh, and I feel so much more healthier.

....Well, I am fitting in my clothes better.

....Not to mention I'm getting around with the kids easier.

....Actually, I am being a good example for my girls by eating better.

Oh, and.....WAIT A MINUTE.....

I don't want you, Mr. Cake!!!!

  1. Keep up the good work, Jess! To make changes that will last it takes TIME. You will do it, you have the best support team around.

  2. You ARE doing a good job Jess! I'm really proud of you and yes you are being a great example for your girls!

  3. You are encouraging me Jess, so keep up the good work and others will follow your example, including me.

  4. That's cool that you found an alternative! Just keep finding other fun distractions and you'll do great...you already are. :) I'm really proud of you. Love you. :)
